Here at Barfoote Construction, we have a cutting-edge precast concrete factory which has manufactured and delivered precast concrete panels, throughout Northland and Auckland regions. With over 450m2 of steel casting tables and ample on-site storage, no job is too large for us. Our site runs two 15+ tonne overhead gantries, with 9 metres under the hook, and 96 metres of travel.
Precast concrete offers a number of advantages, including high-quality finishes, minimal maintenance, good thermal and acoustic performance; making it ideal from high-end homes to muddy paddocks.
Concrete picks up very fine details on the cast surface, so casting off prepared steel beds provides smooth and consistent surfaces that are difficult to match without factory facilities. This can also be used to imprint aesthetic pattern finishes achieving some amazing architectural results. From woodgrains and weatherboard visual effects, to patterns and logos, this can be combined with exposing the aggregate to leave a rough textured surface.
